All in a Single Breath

I was listening to a podcast about how smell works. Have you ever thought about it? Coffee, peanut butter, rotten eggs, rain, smoke, garlic, apple piehow is it all possible? Then I came across a verse that we have had in a recent service about the holy spirit (John 20:22 "he breathed on them"). This immediately got me thinking about that act of breathing. It's truly unbelievable the biochemical processes involved in just one single breath! Amazing isn't it? And from there, a basic question emerges, what is life? Like really—what is it? Not "what makes your life" or "what makes life better" or "what makes life more interesting," but just life itself. What's going on here?

Tomorrow we will breathe. We'll discuss photons, oxygen, carbon dioxide, ATP and ADPI can feel the energy! If you're a science geek, you got that last joke and smiled a little.

Then let's think about what happens when God breathes. There are several scriptural references to that (I'll leave these for you to research), but it's gonna be fun!
