Failure

Apologies for the late post, I suppose I've failed today! Last week, we talked about success. We used David's attitude as he faced Goliath. I'm not really sure if we exactly defined success, but I do know for sure, he didn't fail!

What is failure? What makes one fail? Why does God allow us to fail? I think that thinking about failure may in some aspects be easier than thinking about success.

Matthew 7:24-27 is such a simple parable, but it is so hard to grasp. I think maybe why I struggle with it is that I always see the guy building on the sand as someone else. But what if it's not, what if it's me (or us)? I realize there are both physical and spiritual sides to this but the question still lingers, are we preparing, really preparing, in the way we should.

Let's have a "failure" of a discussion tomorrow!
